Eyelid Nerve Supply

In humans the sensory nerve supply to the upper eyelids is from the infratrochlear supratrochlear supraorbital and the lacrimal nerves from the ophthalmic branch V1 of the trigeminal nerve CN V. The levator palpebrae superioris receives motor innervation from the superior division of the oculomotor nerve.

The zygomaticofacial nerve supplies skin to the lateral lower eyelid while the palpebral branch of the infraorbital nerve supplies the central lower eyelid skin and conjunctiva.
